I have been around truckers and trucks all my life. I remember saying that I would never drive a truck like my grandfather or my Father. I guess that old saying never say never. Well I ended up climbing into a truck back in 1994, man I thought it was going to easy right. I soon found out that I really didn't know as much as I thought I did. The last 17 years flew by faster then I realized , before I knew it my kids had grow up and were raising kids of their own. I do have to say that trucking has taught me a lot about life, so many hours behind the wheel with nothing to do but think. My wife used to tease that truckers think that they had all the answers, I told her that we did, cause the amount time we had to think. What made me decide to start Bubba's Corners, there many reason's. I remember the stress that this industry can cause a driver. Once years back I pulled into the Flying Hook in Miles City,MT the parking lot was filled with cops, and I see the meat wagon parked next to a truck in the back. Asking the gal at the fuel desk what was going on, what she told me and the way she explained to me shock the hell out of me. "(She said that a driver had called his dispatcher and told them he was going to blow his head off and that's what he did.)" And then as cold as ice walked away. Whoa I thought to myself I wonder is this how little society thinks of a trucker. Over the years I have learn to look at this with a different perspective, all that people see is the truck and not the driver. Well I had all kinds of plans for Bubba's Corners, but working 14 hours some days in construction I fell way behind, and then I took on a web store of 10,000 items and and having to go in the web site and rearrange everything was mind boggling . Well we are still pushing forward and plan to make this a fun place to visit. We have added some resources for depression and healthy living tips and will continue to search the best to entertain and to inform. Well driver stake care and be safe. Bubba
